Free Flowing Liquid Screed

Working in partnership with McGrath’s, ADM Floor Screed are certified installers of the unique Cemfloor Modicum liquid screed system.

Cemfloor is a BBA Approved, high performance cement based, free flowing, self compacting liquid screed that is suitable for a variety of applications.

Cemfloor boasts exceptional thermal conductivity, it is very suitable and responsive to underfloor heating due to the fact it can be laid in very thin sections.

This ensures lower energy bills and running costs.

Up to 2000m2 can be installed per day, saving valuable site time.

Cemfloor can be foot trafficked in as little as 24 hours and dries with minimal shrinkage allowing for larger uninterrupted pours.

Can this be done with underfloor heating?

Cemfloor Liquid Screeds are very responsive to underfloor heating due to the fact they can be laid in thinner sections and have a high thermal conductivity. It is self compacting meaning no voice around underfloor heating pipes.

How can this benefit me?

There are many benefits to this system such as

  • Foot traffic after 24-48 hours
  • Our skilled team can install 2000m2 per day
  • Compatible with all cement based adhesives
  • Lower running costs
  • Exceptional thermal conductivity

Is Liquid Screed durable?

The free-flowing properties of liquid floor screed can reduce the hassle of smoothing the floor surface during installation. The self-levelling flowability of liquid screed provides a perfectly smooth and evenly covered surface ready for the floor covering you choose to lay over it.

The structural strength of liquid floor screed can also be exceptional when compared to sand and cement alternatives. With the right additives, such as those used in Cemfloor, liquid floor screed can be made resistant to curling and cracking – a common issue in screed installations.

Anti-crack and anti-shrink properties help to make liquid floor screed low-maintenance, reducing labour costs and installation times.

How much notice do I need to give?

Project timelines are one of the biggest factors determining the success of a project.

Being able to minimise downtime on site and speed up work efficiency is paramount. Liquid screeds’ biggest benefit for some is its quick-drying features, meaning you and your team can get back in action sooner.
